The work of Lina Velasquez (Colombia 1970) is a little juices concentrate the artist: intense, poetic, picarísima, ultra-feminine and inolvidable.A the Exhibition Hall Mediona brought us a love story true in 28 beautiful images full of humor and heart that sees poetry as an arrow and the word never enough to express.
Lina boxes, little ones, covering a lot, so a stop at each picture for a long time. They are stories within the story: landscapes of cryptic messages and phrases glorious, lucid dreams where reigning beauty, the poetic reason and emotion, symbols that play with an image, a thousand words and subtle trickle, that fits. Pure lust and pure passion.
For the opening, Lina was proposed to be itself, and all who were fortunate enough to attend, a great gift. Invited a group of artists who put together an evening worthy, as discussed among participants, from any gallery in the world.
Montse danced Morilla wrapped by a video montage of the works of Lina as backdrop: beating hearts, roses, red hot, ladies sigh of times between calligraphy silver basting. A choreography voluptuous, sensual, that was waking up and ended in turmoil, burst, tear, perfect echo of the savage innocent woman and reflected in the tables of Lina.
